Rehoboth is one of the oldest towns in Massachusetts and still mostly rural: almost 47 square miles of hills, swamps and winding roads, with Route 44 and Route 118 meeting near the centre. Its brooks and swamps drain into the Palmer River and on to Narragansett Bay.

Winding country roads
Most of Rehoboth’s roads are narrow, wooded and winding. Branches brush the sides of a car, and dirt shoulders put grit into every wheel well and onto the lower doors.
Swamps and the Palmer River
Much of the land is swampy, feeding the Palmer River. Cars kept near wet ground stay damp long after rain, which keeps road grime on the paint longer.
Route 44 and Route 118
The two longest state routes in town meet near the centre, and MassDOT brines and salts state roads through the winter. The film ends up on lower panels and wheels.
Woods and pollen
Wooded lots all over town mean oak pollen in spring, pine pollen into June, and wet leaves in the fall, all of it landing on cars that live outside.

What fits a car in Rehoboth

Ceramic coating (Express, Essential, Enhanced). On a car that lives on country roads, a coating keeps grit, sap, pollen and brine from bonding to the clear coat. It rinses off, so washing does less harm to the paint.

Enhanced Ceramic Coating (7-year, two-stage correction first). If branches and years of dirt-road washing have left scratches and swirls, the two-stage correction in the Enhanced coating takes out what can be polished before the coating goes on.

Wheel Face Coating (coating add-on). Dirt and brine pack into wheels on these roads. Coated wheel faces rinse clean.

Deep Carpet Extraction. Mud season comes in on boots. Extraction pulls the dirt out of the carpet that a vacuum never reaches.
