What the local conditions do to a car

Two exits on I-495
I-495 runs through Franklin with exits at Route 140 and King Street. MassDOT brines it before storms and salts it through them, and that film rides home on the lower doors, wheels and tailgate of every commuter car.
Mine Brook marshes
Much of the marshland along Mine Brook is protected flood storage, and the Franklin Reservoir lakes are now open space. Cars parked near wet ground stay damp longer after rain, so salt and grime sit on the paint longer too.
State and town forest
Franklin State Forest and the Franklin Town Forest are both in town. Oak and maple pollen comes first in spring, then pine pollen from late May into June, and it bakes onto paint in the sun.
Station parking
With Franklin and Forge Park/495 stations on the Franklin/Foxboro Line, plenty of cars here spend the working day in an open lot, taking sun, pollen and bird droppings without a rinse until the weekend.

What fits a car in Franklin

Ceramic coating (Express, Essential, Enhanced). A coating suits a car that spends its winters on 495 and its days in an open lot. Brine, pollen and droppings sit on the coating instead of etching the clear coat, and a rinse lifts most of it.

Enhanced Ceramic Coating (7-year, two-stage correction first). If years of station parking have already left water spots and etching in the paint, the two-stage correction in the Enhanced coating takes them out before the coating goes on.

Wheel Face Coating (coating add-on). Coated wheel faces shed brake dust and road salt with a hose, which matters on a car that sees the highway every day.
