Easton is the northeast corner of Bristol County: the old Ames Shovel Works village in North Easton, Stonehill College, and a lot of protected land, from Borderland State Park in the northwest to the Hockomock Swamp in the southeast. Route 24 and I-495 run just outside the town line, and Routes 106, 123 and 138 carry traffic through it.

Borderland and the town forest
Borderland State Park covers more than 1,800 acres across Easton and Sharon, and the town has its own forest besides. Wooded lots mean oak pollen in spring, pine pollen into June and wet leaves in the fall.
Hockomock Swamp
The southeast corner of town is part of the Hockomock Swamp, and all of Easton drains to the Taunton River. Cars parked near wetland stay damp longer, which gives grime and pollen longer to work on the paint.
Routes 106, 123 and 138
The three state routes cross town, with Route 24 and I-495 just beyond the line. MassDOT brines and salts them all winter, and the film ends up on lower panels, wheels and rear glass.
